This handspun, kettle-dyed wool is produced by a cooperative of rural Uruguayan women artists. Wonderfully soft wool, it is spun from a luxurious blend of Merino and Corriedale wools. Hand dying over wood fires in large kettles creates a marbleized effect with an incredible range of hues that meld beautifully and turn your knitting into a true work of art. No two skeins are exactly alike and there are no dye lots. For an overall blended effect, knit two rows from one skein and two rows from another. Hand wash, lay flat to dry. |
