The Sonata is a marriage between the classic architecture and design concepts shared with all other Kromski wheels and the functional needs of a wheel that folds. Made of European alder or birch, it is a full-size spinning wheel that packs away as a small package, making it perfect for traveling, guild and festival gatherings, or storage when not in use. Double treadles make it easy to use, even for a beginner, and comfortable even for long spinning sessions. The bobbins hold a full 4 oz. of yarn and they fit on all of the other Kromski spinning wheels. It features single drive with Scotch tension, and the usual turnings and craftsmanship one expects from the Kromskis. The Sonata is a perfect wheel for traveling or for a first wheel.
